virus problems

havin real problem with net devil/mydoom.
Its killin all my attempts to remove it with norton,spybot,avg,cleanup etc.
Cant start in safe mode to make sure cleanup discs are loaded,and system restore seems disabled. Tried to reinstall xp but pack 2 stops it being loaded and remove programme wont work !!!
Totaly stuck,hope someone out there can help???

Personally I would "slave" your Hardrive to another machine (running antivirus software) and then proceed with removal. You may still need to finalize clean up afterwards, but this should get you headed in the right direction.
