Question Saving pics

On AOL, when I find an image I want to save, I right-click and select "save as". The only 2 options I'm given to save it as are .ART and .bmp. Now I can't view them because they aren't .jpg's. Anyone know what I can do to correct this?

Aol is the most horrible chat program in teh world.

1. Aol doesnt want people getting images from them that actually work/

2. Install trillian

If you are allowed to save them, even in .BMP format, you should be able to view them later by using a program such as ACDSee (in fact all picture viewing software will display .BMP files).

With ACDSee, you can also easily convert the .BMP files to other formats such as .jpg if you desire.

I don't have any picture viewing software as of now. Anybody know of any free downloads or trials, or should I just google it?

A google search for "free picture viewing software" produced 20,400,000 results

Tried Irfanview, but no luck. It said it couldn't open the file because its .ART, but I selected to save the pic as a .bmp file. Does anyone know of any picture viewing software that supports .ART files? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
