First, you have to download the right types of Video and Audio drivers for your computer. Then Go to the Device Manager again and remove the three devices with question marks. Reboot your computer so that the computer will re-detect the Video and Audio devices, and require your drivers for those devices. Locate the right place where the computer can find the suitable drivers and your problems about the Video resolution and Audio will be solved.
In short, you do not give the computer the right drivers for the Video card and audio device so that you cannot change the resolution and can't hear any sound, either.

The problem is that i have just formatted my computer but when i turned it on i coulnd't change the screen resolution above 640x480 or above Medium (16 bit), and there was no sound coming from speakers. so i went into device manager and there were three yellow question marks there that said:
MULTIMEDIA AUDIO CONTROLLER
SM BUS CONTROLLER
VIDEO CONTROLLER (VGA COMPATIBLE)
so i went into Add Hardware in control panel and clicked on each of these but that didn't work. A friend of mine told me to go and download the drivers from the motherboard website so i downloaded them but that didn't work either. Can someone please help me, i have been to all the driver websites but to no avail.
will be very grateful if some can solve that problem
