Opening a protected folder

Ok, here is my problem. Got a new computer with XP, and while playing with it on the administrator user, let's call the user 'admin', I played around with settings, and made the my documents folder set to where only I as administrator could access that my documents folder. Problem is my computer crashed and I had to reinstall Windows, and I restored a backup from a week or so previous. The administrator account is now named Main. Problem now is that I cannot access the my documents folder from the 'admin' user(not a user named admin anymore, but of course the user files are accessable via my documents and settings). There has to be a way to get into that my documents folder, any suggestions? I really need some of the files in there.

Did you encrypt th file through the file encryption service or third party software. By default the administrator as rights to decrypt encrypted files as a recovery agent.
