XP Home Endless Boot loop
Help!
I have a very annoying problem with my Windows XP Home edition. It is stuck in a booting loop and I can't get out. No Windows 'save mode' in any way or 'last working setting' can solve this problem. I just cannot enter Windows. I run it on a new Toshiba Equium Notebook (P4 , 2GHz)
Here is the error message from the blue screen:
Stop: 0x0000007E (oxc0000005, ox3f3f3f3f, oxf790f4f0, oxf790f1ec)
I could at least access my hard drive and save the most important data on a memory stick using a Bart PE boot CD.
If I read the different fora correctly, it his highly likely that this is a problem caused by a corrupt driver after a Windows update. However, I have no clue how to identify the driver and disable it given that I have only the limited options of BART PE. I can access the system32 folder on my hard drive and I ran the sigverif.exe but haven't found any unsigned drivers.
Please help me with this problem! There is a lot of software and other data that would still be lost if I can't correct this mistake!
Thank you very much!
