XP Profile issue

Hello Im running XP Pro SP2 laptop on an NT4 domain.

When the user logs on for the first time, all appears ok, however the 2nd time takes ages, and the profile is loads looks like a Win2000 profile (could possibly be NT), the start menu and taskbar are grey unlike the green and blue in XP. I have deleted the local profile and the same thing happens, first logon ok 2nd not. I have added and removed the login script from users account, and have also deleted user network account and recreated it. Nothing I havetried has made any differences.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cheers
