Plug and Play Problem

I have a cheesey USB Memory Stick Reader that used to utilize the Plug and Play window and ask what I wanted to do, now it just recognizes an external USB item. I have to manually open folders to get to the memory stick. How do I assign it to Plug and Play again? I have tried right mouse click and open with, to no avail. Suggestions?

If you have "TweakUI" for XP, start the program and, on the left, navigate to

"My computer -> Autoplay -> Types" and enable autoplay for removable drives.
