Windows XP lossing connection to 2003 server

have any of you had an issue with XP Pro SP2 loosing connection to a windows 2003 server?

i thought it was a SP1 issue so i upgraded but it still happens.

also i thought it was a wirless issue but mine does it too and i have a cable.

any ideas?
