Windows Messenger Won't Leave
Ok, a bit of a wierd problem here. I use MSN 7.0 for instant messaging. I have uninstalled Windows Messanger. However, in the last month, I have had people messaging me through Windows Messanger when it is not installed, not in the taskbar, and started without my doing so. It is not in the Add/Remove Programs lost, it is not in the Program Files folder, and the command winconfig doesn't add the prpgram to the list. The way I see it, there is no way I can stop WM from secretly opening every single time I turn on my computer. It is annoying me a lot, because I'll get 15 IM windows open completely at random when I'm not even signed in to MSN.
If anybody has any ideas, I'd love to hear them. Thanks in advance.

Are you absolutely sure that you aren't confusing these 'messages' with the Messenger service? If so, disable Messenger in services. If not, please elaborate...

I'll try that, but wouldn't that mean using msconfig every time I start up or shut down? As in having the window come up each time? I don't really want that.. But I'm not sure.
Edit
I can't seem to find 'Messenger Service' in msconfig. I know I've seen it before, though.... :S
Edit
Ok, I've searched Google for disabling the Messenger service. I think I've done so, now. I'll come abck if I still have problems in a little while. Thanks!

If it isn't this, then please elaborate on what the pop-ups/messages look like, as you may have some malware on your system...

This option is specifically located in Outlook.
