Xp Not seing W98SE Disk Through Network
ok, i have a little home network, just some computers hooked together wiht a hub... A 500Mhz W98SE Desktop, a 486 (about 70mhz) W95 Laptop, an a 1.6ghz XP Laptop. I jusr recently got the 1.6Ghz laptop. I hooked it up to the network and can browse the internet... I Can see the two drived on the old laptop, but not the ones on my desktop which is running windows 98. The 98 can not see the Xp (i assume this is becase the different File syatems (NTFS vs FAT32)).. n e idea why this might be happening? Liek i said, i can the drives on the 95, but not the 98... all are apssword protected and fully shared on all of the computers so the "are they shared?" shouldn;t be asked =P
