Hard Drive BUilt in Password

Hello, I have about a 2 year toshiba laptop that i have been having some problem with recently. I think i am seriously affected with spyware and virus's since my compute has been running very very slow and the processor and hard drive are always loud. When i work up this morning and tried to turn on my computer it took about 2 minutes to get off of the toshiba splash screen. Then a black screen came up saying please enter built-in HD password. This is the first time this has ever happened. When i try to ppress F8 or Esc to get to safemode of bios setting nothing happends.

Does anyone have any suggustions.

I'm not sure if you are talking about BIOS password or hard drive password (they are different), if you have BIOS password then this link should help you out.

However i am talking about the hard drive password.
