Need Help Baddllyy...!

I have no idea why, but today, when I log onto my account , my destops were gone, there was no start bar, I was pretty much was staring at my monitor...and the only thing I see, is my paperwall... nothing else, no icons, no start bar... does anyone know wut's wrong? can u help me ? thanx

Hmmmmm... Lets try something here: On your keyboard there should be a key with the Windows flag on it (usually on the bottom left corner in-between the ALT and the CTRL key). Hold down this key and press the R key to display the Run box. Once the Run box is up type explorer in it. Then navigate to your C:\Documents and Settings\your user account here and choose desktop. Do you see anything in this folder?

Once this is done go back to your desktop again. Right click your desktop and choose Arrange Icons By -----> Show Desktop Icons make sure there is a check mark there.

My question to you is this: If you move your cursor over the bottom of the screen does the tool bar and start menu appear?

If it does right click the taskbar and choose properties. Then click on the Taskbar tab and make sure that the Auto Hide Taskbar is not checked...

It could be worse things then this, but this is the basic steps to see what the problem is. If this does not help you, You should boot up into safe mode and if that fails hope that you have a restore point to go back to.
