XP pro upgrade or full version?

I'm fed up with ME and will put XP Pro onto the desktop next week. I can buy an upgrade or the full version. What's best and why. Any suppliers to avoid and any with advantage. It has to be a disk version, so Amazon looks firendly atm

Ideas and opinions welcome

I upgraded from 98 to XP some time ago and it was bad. I have since purchased XP Professional whole, and whilst it is much better it still has problems. Go for XP Professional.

Just looking at prices for full version XP Pro - iro £200+ is this right? Having already paid out for two licenses on laptops, and previous licenses on the desktop I'd rather not be skinned for another £200 if I can help it. Any ideas?

if u buy the upgrade u will have lots of problems (crashes, the bluescreen of death and so on) i speak from experience when i upgraded mi old laptop but then i got mi hands on win xp full (NOT ILLIGALLY I BOUGHT IT) all the porblems cleared up.
