Adding XP Client to Small Business Server 2003 Network

I run a Small Business Server 2003 Network...all of the clients are XP SP2...I re-installed XP SP2 on one of the desktops and was ready to add to the network...I received errors while doing so...and thus was unable to complete the process...

First off, I create the User account and the computer object using the same wizard...

However, normally it will create the email accounts for the user in the process...as I am able to create the User and Computer...no email accounts are setup and I get the following error:

"The wizard could not successfully configure this user account. The following could not be completed: -A Windows Sharepoint Services site group could not be assigned.

Do you want to keep this user account?

If you choose to create a computer account for this user, it will still be created."

I choose 'Yes' to go ahead and then like I said, no email account is set up and I cannot get the computer on the network.

I am lost here...any help will be much appreciated...

Thanks

I had the same problem when I tried to add a user that I had recently deleted in SBS 2003 SP1. It seems that the error has to do with the way I deleted the user and the fact that the home folder was not deleted. In any event, add the user with the wizard and accept the error. Then go to Server Management, Users, click on the user you just added, then click on Remove User. When the check box appears, make sure that you select "Remove Home Folder". Complete the removal. Add the user again, and you should not receive any error message.
