unintended shortcut/folder sharing in user switching

Hello. I'm using XP Pro version 2002, SP2. My parents and I share the same computer. There are two administrator accounts: "Scott" and "Mom & Dad".

I find that some of the desktop shortcuts my parents create in their "Mom & Dad" account become visible on my "Scott" desktop. Also, if they create a new folder on their desktop, sometimes it shows up on my desktop, too. I'd rather that not be the case.

Is there some way to keep those sort of changes limited to their accounts (instead of having them shared across accounts)?

- Scott
