Login problems Windows Xp

Can anyone help me?
I have the following problem, when a user logs in on a windows Xp Pro machine there is stil an old login script running, looks like windows is using a cached copy of the login script, does anyone know of this problem, and how to solve it?
The domaincrontroller is windows nt 4.

Im also having this problem, I have deleted the logon script from user manager, and checked logon policies on the NT4 server all seems to be ok, I have the same setup (I think) at a different location and the XP machines there run fine. Any ideas would be great.

i am having a problem loging in. i get to the login screen ok but when i enter any account including guest it shows the desktop background then it starts loging you out and goes back to the login screen. any help would be appreciated

Try logging on when in safe mode and see what happens.
