No Audio Device./ Screen Resoultion.

Hello, Im new and i have a problem with my computer.
Okay first off, i have "no audio device". On device volume its all greyed out, same with the mute, and place volume icon in taksbar and advanced. Then if you go to audio&voice everything is greyed out as well. But in hardware it says everything is working perfectally fine. I cant listen to anything at all or what not. Whenever i do hear something its a little clicking noise.
My second problem is my screen resoultion. It is i guess you can say locked at 640x480. I cant move the little pointer thing at all. I dont really know what to do. If anyone could help me it would be verynice. Thank you.

You don't state anything about your system specs - if unsure then I recommend you download this utility (Belarc Advisor) :

http://www.belarc.com

It will scan your pc and give you a full profile of all components and software installed - handy if you need help in future.

If you have them - try reinstalling the drivers for your graphics and sound cards (alternatively if your pc has onboard sound on the m/board - try reinstalling the relevant component from the motherboard cd.

If you can't find the cds or they are scratched / unusable - simply post details from Belarc here in another post. Someone can then try and find a suitable link for you to download them.
