System Recovery

I did a system recovery...but I'm trying to delete all the DATA files, I still see that I have the files I had before the system recovery....is there a way to start all over fresh? I thought this would work, but it didn't...any tips?

Recovery wil try to restore a damaged or corrupt installation. Thus, it will retain your files/data/settings etc as far as is possible.

If you really want to remove all of your previous files etc, format your drive from within the XP installation menu of your CDRom and then install again.
