help

when i am in a folder and i try to right click on a file the computer freezes then i have to use task manager to sort it out again, i think it might be to do with service pack 2 or doctor watson but im not sure what im doing

i can normally not copy things or move things and i cant access fikle properties or folder properties

can anyone help?

Start drwtsn32 form Run command line...Disable all options. The problem should be solved

that didnt work...... still doing the exact same thing

i was gonna remove service pack2 but it said that a load of programs probably wouldnt work properly so i didnt

Are you install SP2 after or before installing any other programs!!!
If you do that after installing other programs there is no solution (there is one which will give you stable OS for a while, but is not recommended). You better remove windows XP, install it again and after that SP2 (full version) without any other installations did it before that.....
