XP and saving passwords

So I've been using XP for a while and I'd had most of the passwords I needed saved so I selected the option to stop asking to save passwords. Now, I'd like it to start saving passwords again cause most of the saved ones are obselete and new site memberships etc. I've been trying to find the option to do this and have been unsuccessful. One of my friends mentioned something about the registry, but I don't want to aimlessly sort through that... it's dangerous.

Version: XP pro
*I keep it up to date with windows updates, virus protection, and general maintenance..

If you're using Internet Explorer, look in IE's Tools>Internet Options>Content Tab>Auto Complete button.
