connected, but pages don't load

My brother in law just got a new computer with XP on it. He got a router and set up a network with his other computer, has 2000 on it I beleive.

The older computer workes fine with the new set up, but the XP seems to have a problem. It says it is connected, showing bites sent and received, however when he tries to open a web page, it comes up page unavailable. Is anyone familiar with this problem? We don't know what else to look for.

ck browser tools - options - connections - and make sure it's LAN settings are set to auto....!!

Clean out ur tmp files, all caches and re-boot.
