Failure loading windows

Here's the deal. I was helping my friend fix his computer, cleaning out a very large amout of dust inside. I removed all attached cards, Processor fan and heat sink, as well as RAM. I didn't touch any IDE's or drives. When I put it back together, I tried to boot windows, but it simply freezes midway. I never even see the "Windows loading" screen. It freezes while in dos. The computer was functioning beforehand. Any options? The only other thing is, when I try safe mode, sometimes it loads all the way but reboots.

check tht ur cpu fan is fit tight n is functionin properly. also remove the ram chips and fix 'em bak in their slots. unfortunately, since u removed quite a few components, u will hav 2 make sure everythin is fixed tight n fine. make sure no dust particles r stuck in the pci slots and everywhere else.
