Girlfriend Too Smart- Now I'm Screwed?

Tonight I was on the phone with a friend when my girlfriend came to me with my work laptop asking me to login so she could surf. I logged in and she walked away. About 20 minutes later she came to me and asked me to login again. I tried but it didn't work.

Apparently, she tried to access my wireless network but which is secure but I hadn't given her the WEP key. She thought it had something to do with being a member of my workgroup so she removed me from my company's domain and added the laptop to my workgroup. XP prompted her to restart and that's when she came to me a second time.

Am I screwed? Were the cached credentials deleted when she removed me from the company's domain? I just started last week and I really don't want to go in on Monday with the story. It's an IBM T42 Notebook but I can't seem to access the Predesktop area to restore even though it's enabled in the BIOS.

Try to logon as Administrator without password...Or log in with your current account without pass...Then add your notebook to the Domain again...

Just play dumb on Monday and tell them that you accidentally deleted yourself from the company's domain.

Thanks LeerMoon but I tried that and it didn't work. I should also have mentioned that I did have admin rights to the machine. If all credentials were wiped when she removed me from the domain, how is a different admin going to be able to login?

Best case scenario is that I somehow figure how to login but then the second best is that they will just have to re-image my machine.

If you didn't have Admin Rights you CANNOT change network settings (only if you are Power User or Network Operator) so the problem probabbly isn't that you have been removed from the domain...She could change your password...(
