Shared folders not accessible when unplugged

Hi all,

I have a laptop running XP SP2. It's part of a domain managed by a server running SBS2003. My problem is the following:
I created a shared folder on my laptop and give a full control permissions to everyone just for testing.

From the laptop, using an administrative account (user defined in the domain and granted administrative rights), when I open \\myLaptop\sharedFolder while the laptop is connected to the network, it's opening just fine. But if I unplug the network cable and try to open again, then I get an error message "\\myLaptop\sharedFolder is not accessible. You might not have permissions to use this network ressource.".

I logged in using the Admnisistrator local profile while the laptop is not connected on the network. I tried \\myLaptop\c$ but I get the same error message even though it's not related to the domain...

So my question is: how can I access the shared folders of a machine using the UNC path when the machine is not connected to the network?

Thanks in advance for your precious help!
