[B]Has Google hijacked my IE?[/B]

It seems google has hijacked my IE. When i go to a website, as soon as it loads and everything is displayed, the page suddenly loads to google.com(.) For example after going to hotmail.com the page loads and then down the bottom of the screen it flashes 'done' then changes to google without warning.

I have to keep hitting the stop button just after a page loads so that i can view it or else im sent to google. Orginally my homepage was set to google but even after changing it i am still redirected. I have tried Norton Antivirus, Ad aware, Spybot, CWshredder and HiJackThis all to no avail.

Has anyone heard of this problem? Any ideas on how to try and fix this?

how exactly are you connecting to these websites? are you typing them in on the address bar or picking them from your favourites?

I type them in the address bar. Its not any specific sites that it happens to, just the normal everyday sites that i use. Sometimes it won't happen for a few minutes then randomly it does it again.
