Exclamation System Restore Problems

ok this is my sitution.
My computer was runnnnning realllllllllly slow, and everything was stuffing up so i tried to do a system restore (in the same session). It was at the screen were it says it confirms this date and so on. So after about 15min it was still at the screen so i pressed the restart button on my computer.
So i came back and tried system restore again, it worked, but when it started up again it said that it was "interupted, and did not finshed" so i tried it again on a different date and the same thing work. any date i try to restore does not work.

so i think i have stuffed up my system restore, what can i do to fix, i dont wanna format or anything like.. that

thanks in advanced

Look, my suggestion will be to defrag, checkdisk and upgrade RAM. Then I would do
Code:
MSCONFIG
and disable any thing I could in startup. I would also delete ALL system restore points. Even better turn it off. I does no good unless you delete a file you needed or some thing like that. Trun the crap off. If you get a virus for example you have to turn it off to get rid of the virus. Turn off any services you don't need and in doing all that you'll proberly be much happier that if you did a system restore. One more thing, remove any programs that are not in use. If you need more info just ask away..

Startup does not effect your computer booting. It only affects the programs that boot on startup. The only thing I suggest to leave on is anti-virus. That’s all I have on! Once you start the program it loads into memory (hence startup) Half the time the programs that preload you use less than 15% of the time. Take them off. Now if you were to say services then I would agree w/that statement. Services should not be played w/if you are unsure. Many guides exist so Google it.
Are you two years old?
wuda? coz? sum? What is this.. I suppose, would not, because and some.
Education is a good thing to have.

to revive your system restore, disable it, then re enable it, this will clear your corrupted restore points and allow you start afresh.

start>programs>accessories>system tools>system restore

Also suggest:

Trendmicro Housecall - online Anti virus scan
Spybot Search & Destroy - Spyware detection
Adaware SE - Spyware detection (compliments Spybot S & D)

Delete Temporary Internet files/cookies

Defragment the drive

Spyware/viruses/fragmentation are also reasons a pc will grind to a halt

Disable System Restore: start>right click on 'my computer'>properties>system restore. Select 'Turn off system restore'. Reboot (optional) and reverse the steps above and turn system restore back on again
