Talking Floppy Drive Issues with XP Pro Upgrade
Upgraded my P3 w/ Intel Board and now the floppy drive can't read or format disks. Get message "Windows is unable to format". Running SP1 and also can't get SP2 to complete....?????

ANy suggestions welcomed...much thanks in advance! :

did you re-install after the upgrade? i have had this problem before where windows XP does... "something" and very little works.

after any major upgrade (cpu / motherboard) i make it a habbit to backup / reinstall XP to make sure everything will run smoothly
