Windows did not load properly...loop!
Came home from college, turned on the PC and a message comes up with
Windows did not load properly, gave me a few options which included Starting in Safe Mode
Loading Previous working Config.
Start windows normally.
So i attempt each of these, and every time it gets to the XP loading screen (with lil blue bar thing) and then......dies!
And just starts up and gets to the same 'did not load up properly' point again!
I have attempted to load up the Windows XP repair/reboot disk thing, and it did not find my Hard Drive.
So i copied the ite_raid driver info (yes i have 2 hard-drives which load up strangely) on to a floppy disk (a friend was trying to help me fix the problem, i'm not actually clever enough to think of this myself)
Press F6 when the WinXP disk begins to load up, find the IT8212 driver info, load that up. The screen says starting windows, and the next screen says continue to install windows or press R to go to repair console, and when i press either of these.....i get BSOD.
Yess big blue screen which states
ntfs.sys - Address f8046746 base at f8035000
What am i doing wrong. Why does my PC suddenly hate me, when as far as i know i haven't done anything recently to make it go wrong!?
Help would be much appreciated!
Pete
I did read a previous thread concerning the same issue, tho no1else got blue screened!
