Seems you got some viruses on your system:

C:\WINDOWS\ALCMTR.EXE

R3 - URLSearchHook: (no name) - {CA0E28FA-1AFD-4C21-A8DC-70EB5BE2F076} - C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 2\SskBho.dll

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Reminder] "C:\Windows\Creator\Remind_XP.exe"

O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SurfSideKick 2] C:\Program Files\SurfSideKick 2\Ssk.exe

O16 - DPF: {32FA9DC4-8CB0-4849-8A9A-D201F8B21EEE} (TSLauncher Class) - http://www.totesport.com/casino/totesportlauncher.cab

O16 - DPF: {79849612-A98F-45B8-95E9-4D13C7B6B35C} (Loader2 Control) - http://static.topconverting.com/activex/website.ocx

Suggest you run a decent Virus and Adware programme and see if that solves the problem

Mark

Run an online scan at http://housecall.trendmicro.com/. Norton doesn't really have the greatest track record...

Have you followed the instructions in the sticky at the top of the forum? (Specifically the first 3 parts)

ok really quick, You need to Manage your "Add ons" on internet explorer, a do some configuration... Open Internet explorer>Tools>Internet Options>>>>> Under "Programs" Tab click on add ons and disable everything in there or at least disable all "NOT VERIFY" ADD ONS,,, that should stop your internet Explorer bugs, then run an antivirus and antispyware scan... Actually make sure to run a "combo" of antispyware scan!!!!.....

any question you can E-mail me at...

Do you have enought free space in your HDD???
Have you ran registry cleaners in the last few years??
Do you have a restore point before the System started crashing?
Have you done any overclocking to your computer??
Is it your Antivirus and your AntiSpywares Updated?
have you ran a Scandisk?
Did you eliminate all the Add-on in the internet Explorer???
Did you try re-installing internet Explorer?

I'm sorry for asking you too much but we need as much information as posible so we can help you

have plenty of space on the hard drive

dont have registry cleaners....have only been able to use trial versions

dont have a restore point before internet explorer and netscape started crashin

have no idea what you mean by overclocking

antivirus and antispyware is up to date

just ran a scandisk....took a while for it to get down but i think it was ok as i missed the end of it

eliminated all the 'not verified' add-ons....except for javasoft.....as need java to view teamtalk website

and have tried to uninstall and reinstall both netscape and internet explorer...with no success.....also downloaded firefox yesterday to try that...it also crashed on some websites

I had this problem which also started happening with Windows Media Player as well. I did a virus scan with Trend house call which found nothing wrong. I then installed Avast anti virus which when a boot time scan was scheduled found numerous viruses in the operating system.
When they were removed the error did not occur again. So if in doubt make absolutely certain that you are virus free.
