Question Direct X - gaming problem! with XP

DirectX 8.1 Potential Issues in Games That Use Software Vertex Processing

SYMPTOMS
Under very rare circumstances, games that use the Software Fixed Function Transform and Lighting functionality in DirectX 8.1 may stop responding (hang) while you play a game.

To obtain this fix, visit the "Download" section of the following Microsoft Developer Network Web site:
http://msdn.microsoft.com/downloads
File name: Dx81b winxp - qfe (q321178).exe
Display name: DX8.1b WinXP - QFE

Strange, I can't find it either

Only way left is to contact Microsoft support http://support.microsoft.com

BTW, do you get any error message while playing warcraft3?

And this is what they said in the Mail they REPLAY ME

Temporary router issues on the Internet may be affecting your ability to access several of our Web sites. I would request you to please try again. "

Download the latest drivers for your graphics card. It might help.
