Uninstalling Windows 2003 Sever ?

Hi all,
I have installed Win 2003 server on one of our severs but have been told we need to install Windows 2000 server instead.
I have tried to wipe the HD clean using Win 2003 server CD and deleted the partition but trying to install Windows 2000 from that CD informs me that 'there is no primary drive' in order to install Win 2000 however if I replace the CD with the Win 2003 sever CD it will go about installing !! Is there some sort of routine i need to do in order to completly wipe the Sever and install win 2000 sever from CD from scratch ?

Thanks in advance,
Mitch....

Do you know if you have SCSI drive or RAID drive in your system ? If so, you will need to load the driver for it (When Windows 2000 Installation starts, it will tell you if you have third party driver to SCSI or Raid Controller, that's when you need to press the appropriate button to continue), otherwise, there is no magic way of installing Win 2k Server.

Cheers

Yup, I do have a SCSI drive. but now trying to install Win 2000 the option to install the SCSI drivers no longer appears, it just installs various files, then gives me the option to install Win 2000, repair Win 2000 or quit. Do you know of any steps I have to take to start over again ?

Thanks,
Mitch....
