Task Manager Problems

When I open up task manager on Win Xp Personal eddition, only the task portion is listed. The only way that I can close down task manager is to end the process on taskmgr.exe. I am not noticing any issues with my pc, but I would love to get the tabs at the top back so I can view more of the system information, etc from task manager.

I really have no idea why M$ incorporated that anomaly, as it suits no purpose whatsoever, IMO. Double click anywhere on the border.............

Thanks for the info, doesn't seem wise that feature is there to begin with.

what i think you need to do is..... open the task manager, and click on the edges of the box with your mouse and the tabs should all reappear.

David, I gave up trying to work out some of M$'s foibles, years ago. Life's too short, IMO......*LOL*
