Windows xp home activation

Hi, I had a virus on my computer so i had to re-formatt my it, this would be the second time of using my real CD KEY. But this time i cant activate windows it says that the cd key has been activated 2 many times, i type the one in on the side of my pc and it still dont work
If anyone knows anything about this please tell me

Is there any patch or crack i could use because i refuse to call microsoft as i live in england so the phone bill would be highhhhhhh

when you go to activate it XP will give you a local number to phone, you wont be ringing the US, they will verbally give you the code over the phone to complete your activation
