Smile Remote Assistance - "Problem with invitation.."

Hi,

Having problems offering "remote assistance". This is what happens..

1 .From machine A (xp sp2) open "help and support", "tools", "offer remote assistance"
2. Enter IP or hostname of machine B. Fine
3. The username of the person logged on at machine B (xp sp2) appears.
4. I click connect.
5. The remote assistance screen appears with the word "loading.."
6. Another message box appears "There is a problem with the
invitation and it cannot be opened. To use Remote Assistance, the sender of
this invitation will have to send you a new invitation."

Both machines are on the same subnet. No Firewall\Routers to go through. I not using any email program or messenger.

I have found this error message on MS website - KB322182
http://support.microsoft.com/default...en-us%3B322182

BUT I am offering remote assistance, not using OWA,any email client or
messenger. I am using XP SP2 clients in a 2003 SP1 AD.

What I have also found is that if user 'invites' someone and they try to save the invitation to file, they recieve the message the "program could not start". Now I used to get this message if I was offering remote assistance (just after point 4 above) but not anymore. So why do I get it now when inviting?

Any ideas?
