Outlook won't send/receive but OE will

Outlook suddenly won't send or receive emails. Outlook express works just fine.

When composing a message, prior to sending, i click the "accounts" button to select the account that i want to send from, and there are no accounts listed.

When i go into tools>accounts, all of the accounts are listed and the "test settings" button works fine, no errors.

When i click send/receive nothing happens. No send receive box pops up, no send/receive message in the lower right corner, nothing.

It's not the pop/smtp settings settings.

any thoughts?

Try this.
1. Delete the mail account in Outlook.
2. Still in Outlook, File -- Import and Export.
3. From the wizard's list, choose "Import Internet Mail Account Settings"
4. It should find your account details from Outlook Express. Import it.

I backed up the personal folders to a .pst file, then deleted the entire outlook profile in the control pannel>mail option, created a new outlook profile, imported the backup and viola, it works.

Thanks for the help.
