Exclamation No STARTUP disk! HELP

Problem was i overloaded the computer with too many videos etc, unaware my hard drive was a lot smaller than i thought.

Now when i switch the computer on i get an error message 'one or more drivers are missing or corrupt', then a prompt to insert the windows startup disk to start the recovery process

PROBLEM is the computer was custom built, presumably with a ripped version of windows XP and i dont have the startup disk, or any recovery floppy disk.

Does anyone know where i could get hold of a startup disk (cheaply!) or is there another way round this problem?

All help appreciated!!! iv had this problem for months now but not done anything about it, im due to start uni soon so its important i get this fixed!

Thanks!!!!

I have found legal copies of xp for less than $100 on the web. That would be the best thing.
