helppp

can sum1 plz plz help me...i reinstalled windows xp onto my computer and i am not getting any sound coming out of the speakers. Ive tried many things sites,help lines and shops..but they said i need to download a new driver and i have no idea how to......

I've downloaded the installer and when I want to download, come out a notice stated that "There Are No Via AC'97 Chipset in Your Computer".

P\s-The website that you give me, need to pay to download the device, if so, can you recommend some website that got free download.. >.<

I mean when I want to install, come out a notice stated that "There Are No Via AC'97 Chipset in Your Computer".

Actually the computer is combine my friend using different company hardware.. So I can't tell you an exact answer.. But never mind.. I'll fix the problem already.. Thanks for your help anyway, and sorry for troubling you..

i think i accidently deleted something important from my compter yesterday when i was removing some programs (i know, stupid) and now i cant hear any sound from my computer. no music or anything from websites. so if anyone could please help me, it would be greatly appreciated here is some of my computer info. :
