Hi i'm working on a dell xp setup and have recently formatted my hard drive to my bad luck i havent installed many of the drivers. I'm having trouble with the sound. i keep installing the sound drivers for the computer but the sound still doesnt work.
can anyone help with this issue?

Hi there,

It appears that I have a similar problem to most people... and my audio controller is missing. I have looked at Device Manager and Multimedia audio controller has a question mark and exclamation point. When I try to reinstall, it says the hardware is not installed because the wizard cannot find the necessary software.

I have run belarc and it spat out the following. I'm new to this so if I miss anything, please let me know.

i have this problem with the multimedia audio controller, there is this beeping sound all the time and when i connect my speakers to the computer, it doesnt work! >.< ive been trying to fix the speakers for a while, its been while already.. if anyone could help out ill appreciate it =]

i downloaded that.. but i dunt know wat to do next.. hehe sorry, im a bit clueless ^^; i noticed that theres a question mark with the multimedia audio controller AND the PCI Communications Controller too...
