Driverguide do have Spacewalker drivers, but you will need the model name, get Everest ( Free ) and install, it should give you more details on the sound card. http://www.softpedia.com/get/System/...-Edition.shtml
look under My Computer / Summary, if your not sure just copy and paste the report should be able to help. Spacewalker site foreign can't read.
Cheers

Need a little more information. What is the make and model of your computer, if you don't know get Belarc ( free ) http://www.belarc.com/free_download.html
copy and paste the report in the thread.
Hope this helps

Set a System Restore Point before installing driver just in case
checked this board it has the ALC655 Avance AC'97 audio go here to ASUS
http://support.asus.com.tw/download/...Language=en-us
follow this path left hand pane under Downloads - Input model to search type P4VP-MX / Search Inf / P4VP-MX / Driver tab / there is your ALC655 Avance AC'97
Hope this helps

I am not a moderater, but as no mod seems to be addressing this issue: Would members please NOT post their new problems into an existing thread, even if it looks identical. This is not fair on the original poster as they have trouble keeping track of relevant replies to their specific problem!
Please start a NEW thread, don't 'hijack' someone else's!
Thank you
Pip

Hi, I just reformatted a friend's computer and I am having trouble installing the Multimedia Audio Controller. I have found out that it is the SIS7012 or the SIS7018 audio driver that I need but every time that I go to install it, the setup goes about 10% and then it says I need to restart for the installation to complete but it never actually completes. Once the computer restarts nothing happens. Any ideas? THanks for any help. Here are the specs of the computer:
