Question 2 User Accounts, 1 w/ Internet, 1 without

Hi, I need once again your help. I have now 2 users for me and for a friend of mine who edits video. The problem is, I want to use the internet in my user account, but the friend of mine, he doesn't want to use the internet in his.

How can I shut down the whole network and internet thing in his user, but when I switch user to mine, that in my user account the internet is still on.

And if that's possible, how do I disable the whole program that starts on startup in Windows. Cause I thought since in his account won't be internet, I could save up some resource for him.

Thanx for all your help.

Pardon the ignorance, could he just not use the internet? Or even delete the start-menu shortcuts and the ones on the desktop?

yer, why does your freind just not go on the internet, if he doesnt want to because he doesnt want software to auto access the web then you should set up a firewall and just block them it is much simpler.

sure he dont want to go online? or you dont want him to go online? hehehe what ever reason that would be here is my solution...as posted in other thread..

in one box?

i have a simple trick, if the user of that account is not literate with windows config..

log in to the user account that you want to block... go to tools --> iinternet option --> connection --> lan setting ... put nummy proy server and port ..click advance make sure the "use same on all protocol (something like this) is checked... this setting will remain only for the user and will not affect the other user...

for the startup thing... go to run and type msconfig.. the screen will tell you what to do..
