Ah yes I've had to do the same before when I reformatted. I'll give u the path to the folder where u copy the files into... that should put them back into Outlook =) The file path is...
C:\Documents and Settings\Your-Name\Local Settings\Application Data\Identities\{F74EF23F-2879-45EF-8FA8-73F3A497FF59}\Microsoft\Outlook Express
in the Identities folder theres folders that are named something like this " {F74EF23F-2879-45EF-8FA8-73F3A497FF59} " sometimes theres more than one of them so you have to look in them and look in outlook to see which one has the same folders in it...
Example: one could only have 3 files when outlook as 5 folders.
you want to copy your files into the one that matches the folders in Outlook.
Hopefully this helps you

However I'm having a big problem rescuing my mail. I saved all my mail folders to disk but I can't figure out how to transfer these dbx files back into Outlook Express (or any mail program to view these files). In these folders is important registration numbers I'll need to re-download programs.
Can anyone give me simple directions on how best to do this? I am running XP, Outlook Express. I can't remember where I copied the mail from, as someone led me... all I remember is an Identity folder. I saved it to disk before my recovery. Now the files are dbx files and I can't import them because they are not in a mail program but sitting on a disk.
HELP! PLEASE!
