Installing windows...
ok, so im on linux... i have been try to reinstall windows,but when i boot up the disk it says...

Starting windows config (or something like this).... done
Searching for hardware... done

and then a blank screen... any ideaS?

Give us something to go on. What windows? What linux? What hardware? How are you going about the install? Are you booting from the windows cd?
