xp constantly rebooting problem
Over the last 6-8 weeks I have come across around 50 or so xp users who have had the problem of their computersconstantly rebooting after the win xp logo.
In most of the cases it seems to be after windows updates has installed in the background and on reboot they get this problem.
It seems to happen on XP home and Professional.
On different motherboards and graphic cards/chips.
The only solution I have found is to use the repair facility on the Xp disk, the second time it comes up not the first.
My question is has anyone worked out what is actually causing the problem?
Computers that leave updates on after being 'fixed' get this problem again.
Those that do not have updates on do not get the problem again, but of course miss out on any vital updates they may need.
