Would anyone be able to help me with this? I have the address bar in my taskbar for easy access, but when you type an address it uses and existing IE window. Is there any way to make it open the typed address in a new window instead?
I do not use IE much. IE is not setup for opening multiple windows as far as I can see. Most of the alternate browsers are easily customized and have the ability to open many windows. In Phoenix for example: I create folders on the toolbar with various urls in each. When I click on the folder all the urls open. I know this dos'nt answer your question but its a big browser world out there and IE is way behind.
I know how to open multiply windows using the Shift key in IE when you click a link. So I know it can, I just wanted to know if there was a script or a way to edit the default action of the address bar to open the typed address in a new window when the return key was pressed.
