User Enviroment

I have a pc running XP Pro, that starts up with an error message after domain log-on as: User Enviroment-
Windows connot load users profile so windows is loading the defaul profile. Under details it says Not enough drive space, the machine has a 60 gig drive with 54.3 gig of free space, the users profile is 153mb and the machine is running 256mb of ram. If I remove the profile and recreate it, works well for a week or so and then same thing happenes all over again.

I have looked around and can find nothing on user enviroment any help here would be greatly appreciated.

It could be that it's reporting that the server
doesn't have enough space to write the profile.
Possibly the directories can't be created or the
client doesn't have permission to write to the
server.

Default User Profile for new users on the local machine

Go to start/run type in regedit and click ok.

Click on the HKEY_USERS branch (to highlight it).
Select File on the menu/Load Hive. Navigate to x:\Documents and Settings\Default User folder (where x houses the Documents and Settings folder). The Default User folder is hidden by default. Open the ntuser.dat file.

For the Key name: type in the word tweakxp (actually you can type in anything) and click ok. A new subkey named tweakxp will appear under the HKEY_USERS branch.

Navigate to

HKEY_USERS\tweakxp\[remaining path to the restrictions/tweaks you want to set]

Add in the applicable values and value data.

Go back to the subkey tweakxp and click on it to highlight it. Select File on the menu/Unload Hive.

What I meant was,

the original profile I was trying to sign on with is stored local to the offending machine, the server only issues domain authentication. ( no roaming profile) I also must add that this does not occur all of the time I would say around 65% of the time, also even though it tells you it is going to load a default profile it ends up loading the profile that I signed on with, not a default. I spent 2hrs and 40 minutes with tech support and they were baffled. In a sense it is more of a nusence than a problem.
