Argh!!! Xp Is Driving Me Nuts!!!

ok... I just bought new computer... I'm trying to install XP Pro... so I put the CD into the CD rom and start the comp up... first thing that goes wrong is that the computer can't read the CD-ROM... then fine... I go to the Microsoft Webby and get the Boot disks then when I boot it up using boot disks it doesn't read the disk???... I also tried switching to another CD-ROM... It was able to read the second CD-ROM but when I placed the CD inside it still wouldn't boot??!?!?!?! CAN SOMEONE PLZ HELP ME!!! WAH WAH WAH... =( I'm so sad...

Your BIOS needs to support booting from the CD-ROM, but most computers have had this support for the past 2-4 years. It might be necessary to enable this in your BIOS. Consult your computer/motherboard manual about this.

also that cd-rom that does work but wont boot from cd u have to get into your bios (which is usually the delete key) then search through tha options in there til u find something like first boot device, switch that to cd-rom then save it. reboot your pc.

it might ask u to press a key on keyboard to boot from cd when it is starting to boot up.

see what happens
