Multiple User Problem

hi, i consider myself an intermediate computer user and have tried everything that i know to cure this problem but to no avail, so im hoping someone here can help me.
i have 2 administator accounts on my PC, for me and my partner, and want to be able to access my files from her account but no matter what i do it comes up with the "access denied" error box. i put a password on my account so that i could check whether or not i had accidentally made my folders private, but i havent, she can only see half the folders in the local C drive and also the shared documents folder and she cant access my own documents at all.
i tried the Sharing tab, when right clicking on My Documents, from my own account, but i cant uncheck the option to "Make these files private".

does anyone have any idea of how i can fix this?
i am running Windows XP Home, with SP2.

thanks for any help, in advance,

Dan
