Installing Window Components

I wanted to download a few of the games that came with Windows Xp.Evidently all of the options weren't downloaded at the time of the installation.I am now trying to do this.After I check off the freecell & spider solitaire games it than ask me to put in the Windows Xp cd in which I do.Howver, my question is how do you know when the installion is done.Each time I try to do this its always too early & its not completed & than I have to start over.There is no bar or any sign of how long this procedure takes & I don't even know if its doing anything.Is this the way it is or am I missing something...Thanks

The way that you can tell whether the installation of additional windows components has successfully completed is to check the corresponding directory. As in your case, check the games directory in your Programs Menu. If they aren't there, then the installation didn't complete successfully in which case just try again.
