Problem with Links outside of IE

Hi. I'm having problems with links outside of Internet Explorer. Anything that is supposed to open a site with Internet Explorer will not worl. This includes links in Outlook Express emails, MSN conversations, items on right-click menus on my contact list, etc. I really have no idea waht may be causing this, but I'd appreciate help with this.

By the way, my computer's 100% spyware, adware, and adware free.

Goto Start>Control Panel. Add/Remove Programs. Then on the right hand side, click on Set Program Access and Defaults. Then goto custom, then choose what you want and for Browser select IE.

Try this, I have done these but these to no avail, but the Web reset did the trick for me. Good luck. Hope this helps.

Go to Start / Run
Then enter regsvr32 urlmon.dll
Click Ok when finished

If that single change does not resolve the problem, repeat the process by running the following additional entries:
regsvr32 Shdocvw.dll
regsvr32 Msjava.dll
regsvr32 Actxprxy.dll
regsvr32 Oleaut32.dll
regsvr32 Mshtml.dll
regsvr32 Browseui.dll
regsvr32 Shell32.dll (Windows XP and Windows 2000 only)

There have been several instances where the previous tip using regsrv32 does not solve the problem with hyperlinks not working.

In this case try:

Open Internet Explorer
Go to Tools / Internet Options
Click on the Programs tab
Click on the Reset Web Settings button
