CD Drive not working!!!

When i insert a CD into any of my two CD-drives and then double click on it, theres an error message about the disk structure being corrupted. What is happening?

Hello xcrunner
It would help if you could give us the exact error message you recieve.
I would also make sure that all cables are clean and securely fitted.

Code:
CD-Drive letter:/ is not accessible. The disk structure is corrupted and unreadable.

The End.

I assume that this drive was working in this system for a while? Try this: START, Control Panel, System , hardware, device manager , cdroms, rihgt click the cdrom you're using and uninstall. Then go to control panel after a restart and click add new hardware. Hope this helps, this may be (if this doesn't work) time to invest in a new drive..Good luck Lenny
